Watch as Pastor Tony talks about knowing Jesus personally!
There is a HUGE difference.
Jesus said in the gospel of John 3:3 that "unless one is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God."Also in the book of Romans in verse 10:9 it says " that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved." To Know Jesus in a way that leads to Eternity in Heaven we have to confess with our mouth that Jesus Christ is LORD! Following Jesus as Lord means we turn from our way of doing things to His way of doing things, which is described in the Bible. Having Jesus as the Lord of Your life means having the assurance that you have escaped Hell and have the promise of Eternity in Heaven with Jesus. Jesus promises to be with us every step of the way by setting His Holy Spirit within you.
Roman’s 3:23- “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”
John 3:3-“Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.””

John 1:12-“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:”
Ephesians 2:8&9-“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”
1 John 1:8&9-“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
Revalations 3:20-“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.”
Romans 10:9&10-“that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
2 Corinthians 6:2-“For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”
