Watch as Pastor Tony talks about knowing Jesus personally!
There is a HUGE difference.
Jesus said in the gospel of John 3:3 that "unless one is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God."Also in the book of Romans in verse 10:9 it says " that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved." To Know Jesus in a way that leads to Eternity in Heaven we have to confess with our mouth that Jesus Christ is LORD! Following Jesus as Lord means we turn from our way of doing things to His way of doing things, which is described in the Bible. Having Jesus as the Lord of Your life means having the assurance that you have escaped Hell and have the promise of Eternity in Heaven with Jesus. Jesus promises to be with us every step of the way by setting His Holy Spirit within you.
